Orienteering 1:18:51 [3] **** 3.1 km (25:26 / km) +160m 20:13 / km
spiked:13/16c shoes: Last Jalas ever

PAPO OY, Castle Hill Village. Would be very happy with this, with mostly spikes or nearly so after taking a control or 2 to get my head into the game. ....But 15 minutes or thereabouts on control 10, including still missing it the first time I 'safely' relocated off one of the main tracks, kind of puts a slightly different spin on things. Oh well, was still a great day to be up there orienteering among the bellbirds, riflemen and pipipi, and views of snowy mountains whenever emerging from the forest. Just need to bottle whatever worked on the spiked controls and throw away whatever was different on #10!

Orienteering (course setting) 1:10:00 [1] *

Popped into Acheron with Bruce, mainly just to check if the area intended to be used for the white and yellow courses for The Cursed Event was basically as mapped and would be useable for the kiddlies. Was mostly better than expected. So now just have to wait for the decision on whether we are using Acheron... A little bit of additional exploring with other courses in mind but the main thing that slowed us down was dispatching a possum caught in a leghold trap - someone out there was stretching the live-trapping regulations with regards to time to inspect traps

Walking 1:00:00 [1]

Ups and downs in Victoria Park. Actually have no idea how long we were out there for, but let's call it equivalent to an hour's effort.

Run 50:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Trabuco 2018

From work, downriver to past Swanns Bridge, then back upriver to Cashel Mall and back to work. A plod, but a consistent plod - felt like I could have easily gone longer if I had the time...
