Bratislava, a bit of a circuit to get my bearings. Up to the Slavin war memorial (probably a bit of an unpopular opinion round here but I am a bit of a fan of the Soviet monumental aesthetic ) then through what seemed to be a bit of a classy hill suburb to skirt around the castle, dropped down to the river because when am I ever going to run along the Danube again? And in the process of skirting around the old town discovered a couple of spots of cool modern architecture that hopefully I can find the time to investigate at a more sedate pace.
