Run 36:30 [3]

I knew as soon as I started doing stuff like entering races things would start going wrong. Run down the river side do just past Anne St, then up some of the stairs I discovered a week or 2 back to see where they went - and then a sharp rapidly building pain around the bottom of the calf/top of the ankle - kind of like how I remember things feeling moments before something went pop on New Years day. So stopped, walked a bit, put a bit of pressure on the spot, and it seemed to drop in intensity. Problem was I was now a long way from walk so had to carry on at a slow run. But at that pace it stopped manifestng as anything worse than bad muscle tightness.

I'm not panicking yet. Sometimes I think some of the stretches 'they' have me doing are ones that if you don't get just right, do more harm than good. And I think today I was a bit off-balance on them.
