Run 35:00 [3]

I was at home, my car was in Ham East where I'd left it last night, so the sensible way (in my world) to collect it was to run over, obviously. Wasn't sure I'd make it if I started from home, so got Jase to drop me off near the mosque which meant I didn't have too far to go to make it a mostly riverside run. And was a complete fluke that that made the run-time the figure I had been aiming for. Although there was a bit of walking (which i think had more to do with not much sleep last night than being 2nd run in 2 days) was mostly comfortable, and probably would have coped with the extra distance from home (just would have been much less pleasant). Calf tightness only noticeable on some of the sharper uphills, and the first time I dropped down to a walk. Definitely time for some new in-soles though - thankfully I see my podiatrist on tuesday.

Run 30:30 [3]

My motivation-fairy is apparently back after a short holiday. Unfortunately while it was gone, the CBF-demon filled in for it. So I was worried I might have gone backwards a bit, but apparently can still handle a 30 min easy run around the hood with no major issues.

Run 25:00 [3]

So Sunday was one of those days that didn't really happen, Monday I had sudden stabbing pains in the calf tendons as soon as I started thinking about a run after work... given that, today I was torn between maybe I should still be taking it easy and the thought that if I don't do something inertia will take over. So went and checked out Forest Lake, which was nice, and just the right size (the park, not the lake) for the length of run I wanted. Sore right at the start and wondered if I should bail (but kept going, coz obviously I learn from experience) but otherwise just fatiguey during the run, but sore again as soon as I stopped.
