Stationary Bike intervals 49:00 [3] 31.1 km (1:35 / km)
weight:75.2kg

The full-penance workout...

Stationary Bike 11:00 [5]

...felt good enough that if I ever make this a regular habit, maybe I could up the game a bit - longer intervals, or more regular than 1 out of every 5 minutes? Not ready for immy's 'intervals of pain' or whatever she calls it though

Note

The reason I'm back on the bike... today my physio started using words I don't like, when I told her I thought I'd gone a bit backwards. Words like capsule impingement or stress fracture. So even though she didn't say no running, I didn't really feel like it. Maybe over the weekend if I can find some nice flat unpaved grass. Have some imagery booked next week which will hopefully eliminate these possibilities.

Thankfully there has been a little going on on the good news side of the equation, I think. Even more weekends in Rotorua may be on the cards...

Note

Foot a little sore in the morning, then, prob in part to being unavoidably on my feet all day, got worse. Particularly bad at about the decision point to go running or not time of day, so... no. :-(

Run 23:00 [3]

5+6+7+5 minutes. Foot not 100% but felt more like impact related soreness than anything directly through the injury. ok after.

Walking 20:00 [1]

Note

So last week was feeling sore around the ends of the sprain all week from sunday night onwards (physio had a little trick for that when i saw her on friday), so didn't get any more running in, was feeling generally fatigued and each day by the time i got back from work was too shattered to jump on the bike, and the weekend just gone, just had other priorities going on. But I'm not giving up quite yet!
