Run 45:00 [3]

In W*anganui. Dublin St/Town Bridge circuit with extra bits, doing battle with windy squally weather which I will blame for feeling so slow and sluggish.

Rowing (Machine) 6:00 [3]

Just giving it a go out of curiosity. Hard work and seemed to hit a slightly different set of leg muscles! Maybe not to be done straight after a run!

Recovery run. Out to the highway and back again, this time at a more intentionally sedate pace, and jumping off the road from time to time. Liked those bits, good balance and glide across the terrain but did have to avoid all the dried up hoof prints, especially as I had the idea that my ankles were a little bit 'soft'

Pathetic. But then that's what I expected/deserved. Had to walk short stretches 4 times on the homeward split - the last time on the flat.

Yeah, there's some work to do. But I have a plan. I may even post it, though last time I did that I promptly got injured in the first week....
