A bit like the other day only slightly longer. And this time after I'd warmed up it was at least 10 minutes before I had to stop the watch and walk for a bit. Unfortunately the remaining couple of bursts were shorter, but I'm sure that's because that was the point where I turned into the headwind (which seemed to be blowing in two directions so had it for two "sides" of a basically square run. Calf started to tighten just at the end. Perhaps I should specialise in middle distance. And find a grade that I can actually do 30 minute middle distances.

Call off the search parties!

Cruising around the mean streets of Palmy seeing if the legs still work. Would have prefered grass but everything's pretty soggy at the mo. Went OK but rather than a 25 minute continuous run was reduced to 4 bursts of 5 or more minutes - stopped the watch for the walking in between. I suppose I could try to claim an intervals session.... no?

Luckily any health benefits this run may have produced should be counteracted by the batch of honey-oat bikkies that I made afterwards
