Note

Winter Classic the easy way - playing paparazzi at the event centre and the top of Polhill. Hopefully got some good shots off in between clinging on to the tops of the old gun emplacements during wind gusts

Note
(rest day)

Intended rest day, but also the ankle started getting a little tender overnight - so we'll see what happens tomorrow to the intended run

Run 33:00 [3]

From flat to campus. Fairly direct but took in the odd small zig zag through the esplanade for fun. Must stop thinking that because I'm running in I therefore don't have to be at the bus stop before 820 and therefore can stay in bed a 'little' longer... so was running a bit late again today. But was hard work this morning so even if I'd had time for the intended long way to work would not have had the energy

Run 50:00 [3]

From campus to flat. Was going to take the direct route at least until across the bridge so as to not commit myself to extra time/distance until I was happy that the foot was ok - then do laps round the esplanade if AOK. However took a wrong turn early on and ended up climbing up to Summerhill, so thankfully no problems! Then right through the esplanade, behind the holiday park and a lap of the dog-walking area before striking back for home through Savage Reserve (I'm guessing Scribe Street and Che Fu Lane must also be round here somewhere). Still not an hour plus but will do for the mo.
