Mickleden Straddle. Opted for caution and boyfriend points so ran it with Caroline. She did well barring falling over towards the end which resulted in a small tantrum.

‘This is shit, I hate these things, why do you make me do these things!?’

Fair question I thought, I didn’t have a good answer.

She was in better spirits by the end. Feeling much better this evening so hopefully through the illness.

Roundhay ‘Winter’ Parkrun. Three laps of a big field (like many a race this winter).

Still feeling a bit bunged up but thought I’d see how this went. It went okay enough.

I then felt a bit worse in the evening, so not sure this was totally wise.

Feeling a bit run down, perhaps predictable after the slight excesses of London. Trying to show maturity and ‘nip it in the bud’ as opposed to pressing on regardless. Must be nearly 30

Dragged myself out of bed after about two too many beers last night. More Thames path and avoiding collisions. I do quite enjoy how easily the miles tick by on the flat tarmac.

Escaped from the office in London for a lunch run. People dodging down to the Thames, ego inflating runner overtakes along the Thames, back the same way.

Deodorant wash and back into the office, hopefully not emitting too much of an odour. Was probably my only window today to do something.
