Running tempo 1:20:00 [4] 10.0 mi (8:00 / mi) +300m 7:19 / mi

Recceing the Calderdale Relay last leg with Nathan, for 4 weeks time. We went at a decent clip throughout, then really pushed up the big climb. Should get under 80 on race day. Legs were sore from Squash yesterday, but this was a nice run.

Pretty intense squash match with Nick from work. I was going to run today, but I think a day off would be well advised. I've run for 15 days straight now in some capacity or another, and whilst it's tempting to see how long that can last, it's also a recipe for the physio.

Ran to football. Did a couple of hill reps. Legs felt heavy, but then again, I was carrying a rucksack.

Lots of hill work for my tired legs. Very wet and muddy. Successfully avoided pairing up with any maniacs.

I wasn't going to run today, but I felt nice and warm after the session, so jogged a lap of the perimeter of the park.

Back in Leeds. Last day off work. Bored, so went and faffed around with some weights, for my once monthly gym session. Entertained the idea of getting to the gym on a regular basis before work. We'll see.

Feeling quite good after the weekend (this has happened before after JK's. Not sure why) - so went down to the club, who dutifully were doing an off road 8 mile plod, which was fine. Need to get some harder and longer sessions in before BOC.

JK Trophy first leg. Did ok, but basically out of gas after yesterday, and struggled on the hilly course. Not the best weekend all in all, but we move on.

Completely bum raped by Craig a Barns. Going fine, losing pockets of time frequently but nothing major, until 18 - where I couldn't find the boulder on the slope. Didn't know how to relocate, didn't know what else to do. Ran up and down, along, round, everywhere, until I eventually found it - by this point completely demoralised to continue, and crashed out of stamina towards the end also. One to forget!

Came back to the car, swaying like a student, to find a 'JK 2013 - 4 Days in Southern England' on the dashboard. Yes please
