Easingwold urban - nice course and area. My leg speed was decent today, but my speed of thought was not. Retarded choice of shoes considering the first muddy section, but slithered round ok. Ran hard to 9, but potentially missed optimum route. Definitely missed optimum route to 15, and compounded it by running down an unmapped private road as opposed to where I needed to be. Minute gone there at least. Remainder was ok. Sneaked in front of Nic for 2nd place behind Carl Edmonds. Looking forward to more of a battle tomorrow.
