Core 35:00 [2]

Circuits 30:00 [4]

I was so sore this week! :/

Warm up/down 15:00 [2]

The usual jogging, and entertaining extras before circuits. + no English tutor to rush off to this week so I got the full warm-down too. (:

Note
(rest day)

Knackered from yesterday, and working last night too. (so i was on my feet for hourrrsss!) had a well deserved lie-in.
Was planning on going for a gentle recovery run, but I just ended up getting myself in a mega-stressed state revising for my English prelim. :/

Warm up/down 40:00 [2]
shoes: Adidas Swoop

Remembered from last time that i had to warm up even more than I thought necessary as leg one goes straight into uphill, + it feels like it is neverending! So me and mum did a huuuge warm-up, and i think it paid off. (:

Running (Hill Race) 54:30 [5] 7.0 km (7:47 / km) +600m 5:27 / km

Devils Burdens, leg 1!
Up, up, up for the first 27 minutes!
This is the first year that I can actually say I enjoyed it, well all apart from when I got a stitch after the steep descent. Definitely much different being the stronger of the pair. (:

Warm up/down 25:00 [2]
shoes: Adidas Swoop

I knew I should do some proper warming down and stretching or my legs would completely stiffen up once I got in the car to go to edinburgh. So I sensibly went for a jog after driving to the leg3 start and then did some stretching. (:

Warm up/down 25:00 [3]
shoes: Saucany

EUOC - Edinburgh Street Race,
Legs feeling really heavy, so tried to loosen them off with a good warm-up. Didn't seem to wok too well, they were still feeling pretty knackered once i started.

Orienteering 1:00:50 [4]
shoes: Saucany

EUOC, Edinburgh Street Race.
Definitely not used to asking my legs for this much in one day! I could feel that i'd done the devils burdens, so felt pretty slow the whole way round. And I wasn't clean either, so not a great race.

Intervals (HILLS!) 25:00 [5]
shoes: Saucany

Satisfaction is a good feeling. (:

It woud have been so easy to not bother as it was only mum and I who turned up, but the idea of having to put a big cross against hills on my training plan filled me with horror... :P

We did 2 + a half times 30/60/30/60/30 with 30 seconds rest between each. + jog back to the bottom of the hill between sets. (:

Orienteering 52:30 [4] 5.3 km (9:54 / km)
shoes: Adidas Swoop

FVO Night Event - Polmaise. (:
Bit of a hectic start, and I was paranoid Jon would've put us straight into gaffles... Apart from that and a few little silly mistakes it was pretty good. And it was nice having other girls there to run bits with - Becky, Hollie + Hazel. (:
