Out to East Perth for a coffee at Toast, Dolphin swimming in the inlet made us smile.

Had a physio appointment so after a bit of poking and needle work, I went for a lap around Lake Monger.

Long time since I ran around the lake, pretty sluggish to start but managed two of the km sections OK

Back to getting organised for NZ

Sprint at JFNP Tavern Map

Was going ok, picking off controls all be it rather slow across the rocks and through the scrub but wasted 2-3 minutes at 21 looking on the cliffs higher up. Distracted by another runner and not reading the map closely enough to see the control was lower and right next to the track.

Had a beer in the beer garden afterwards

Forgot to take my GPS so distance a guess
