Orienteering race 30:00 [3] 3.73 km (8:03 / km) +93m 7:09 / km
shoes: Innovates

Nav Dash at Christmas Tree Creek, JFNP.

Not been on this map before, nice little old paddock on the edge of the park. Headed off behind Andrew Martin and thought when I turned over the map why did he go over the top of the knoll at the start, so I caught him at number 1 and we were never apart after that and swapped the lead a couple of times. Generally pretty clean through the whole course will no significant mistakes

Pleased to have come 8th, definitely my best result in a Sprint this year. I think the bush setting works for me, until the next day...

Orienteering race (MTBO Champs) 1:22:04 [4] 21.34 km (3:51 / km) +225m 3:39 / km
shoes: Avanti Mountain Bike

MTBO Champs at Dryandra, Went for the Course 3 M50 rather than acting my age on Course 4 M60, only one person left in M60 nas Ken, Kjell and I all rode up leaving Rob to take the glory! Had trouble in a few places finding the start of the tracks off the major roads. So when around about on #2 which cost a minute of two then was a bit indecisive on route choices a couple of times. Could not find the track out of #8 so ended up on an old unmapped ride for part of the way then thanks to the open forest just went cross country when it ran out.

Well off the pace, saw Kjell a couple times and he went past me on a route choice and came in 3rd
