Road Cycling (commute) 42:00 [3] 17.5 km (25.0 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Ride to work, pretty cold but long gloves and botties kept me warm enough, had planned an early start but both Nicole and I had sore ankles from the Mt Billy event and decliend the longer ride. Decided when I got to the Narrows to head around South Perth to the Windance bridge and back into the city that way. very messy getting from the bike path at the railway station to Central Park but nice ride otherwise.

Road Cycling (commute) 31:00 [3] 15.0 km (29.0 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Home via Matilda Bay and out to Nedlands foreshore. Got a good wheel to follow on the Bay then had a stalker to the turn at Tarawarre so that kept the pace up around 30km/hr until the underpass and slower through the traffic on Hampden Rd

Event: Mt Billy

10 AM

Orienteering race 1:28:55 [4] 9.93 km (8:57 / km) +166m 8:16 / km

Mt Billy H2 - just because I was slack yesterday and did not ride so had some extra energy. Good course through the first half around the complex rock on My Billy and up to the last few which were a bit of a slog but not many options for the setters as parking restricted.

# 1 a bit off line not really concentrating at the start
#2 went left and attacked from below seemed and was safer option and was able to navigate into the control
#3 - #7 took it fairly slow and careful as I could and do spin out in this terrain
#8 on tried to run straight and pick up the pace a bit when it was open but made a couple of small mistakes overshooting 11 and going up the wrong gully for 12

Quite happy with the run and foot not too sore at the end.
