Trail Running 1:08:59 [4] 10.12 km (6:49 / km) +282m 5:59 / km

Bobbin Head with Cath - dam nice run and it had stopped raining by the time we started, unlike O_ing who rode there in the rain.

Along the river then up up up the hill followed by a flat trail and the switch back down to the car park - GPS track to come

Hard work and stuffed at the end of it

Road Cycling 1:02:00 [3] 25.0 km (24.2 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Road Cycling (commute) 17:00 [3] 7.0 km (24.7 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Matilday bay had a mild head wind. Someone jumped onto the path at Hackett Drive and was 150m in front and was a target all the way into town I managed to get within 10m by the turn off to William St but could not quite get to him - a good solid bit of red line for 5km - no GPS so no accurate reading but a bit over 30km/hr I think

Road Cycling (Commute) 47:00 [3] 19.0 km (24.3 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Via Terry Tysak for the OAWA meeting, worked out why living on the East of the city is good when I was cruising in the mid 30km/hr range with no real effort to 7th Ave afeter fighting my way through city traffic to get on the bike path. Spotted cricketk just before I turned off.

Ride back to Shenton Park OK but not my favourite in the dark even if the paths have lights

Running 39:14 [3] 6.5 km (6:02 / km)

Shorter KP run with Titus. First time I have run with Titus since around 1991 when we were in Melbourne together on a Maptek marketing trip! Titus made it to the Law path then pulled up puffing and was walk run from there back to Hale Oval

My left ankle sore from a couple of minor tweaks over the past month of Orienteering so will need to keep the pressure off it for a few days.

Along the river to Bayswater and back along the railway line. Lots of congestion in South Perth with social riders and WAMC race nice after Windance bridge - river calm and nice conditions for a social ride.

Orienteering race 1:01:52 [4] 7.35 km (8:25 / km) +199m 7:25 / km

Day 2 Autumn Classic Umuna H3 - a few more in the race today with Simmo dropping down for OY points and Ian Fletcher running just one day. Went well through to 11 ecen if the hills were tough. Then saw Ken Post leaving 11 and heading NE around the fence and I thought I would go direct which was OK except that I went through the wrong saddle and took a minute to work it out and then into the control OK. #15 I saw "a" control on a boulder on my contour but was sure it was an earlier boulder to the one I needed so decided not to check it even though I ran the other side of the boulder, ended up at the creek beyond and then down to some other rocks before heading back up to "the" boulder! Lost 3 minutes

Ended up ahead of Chip who faded but Simmo and Ian were both ahead but in range - young Joe was out of sight about 10minutes in front.
