Rode from Stoneville to Ngan... O event - I had to agree with tRicky the Great Eastern Highway new surface is shit to ride on with very course bitumen and all the small stones have been pushed to the road edge so you can't ride on the shoulder without ploughing the gravel!

Flynn Rd also is rough

Orienteering race 1:07:13 [4] 7.07 km (9:31 / km) +165m 8:31 / km

Standard event at Ngangg... Did H3 but was too hot an tired on the way to 10 and decided to walk back from there. My time was Ok as I had lost a couple of minutes on #1 but had caught back up to Ian Fletcher who started after me so was on track for a low to mid 60 minute time - maybe the bike ride there finished me off, maybe the late night and sleeping on the floor was not the best preparation

CRT Ride, lots of usual people MIA due to Cyclo Sportif ride tomorrow so an odd group with no structure or leader. Got pissed after after being on the front all the way to Cottesloe and then a group of bludgers took off the back after another group that passed us so I decided to drop back and ride with Nicole's group which was much more organised. Rode with them to Canning Bridge then took off for sprint to Mt Henry and and back to Subi. A rider stuck to me like glue all the way from Canning Bridge to near the Narrows when I managed to crank it up enough to drop him. Got swallowed by a nice peleton near the brewery so a good quick sprint along Matilda Bay

Orienteering race (Nav Dash - Sprint) 26:18 [4] 4.01 km (6:34 / km) +246m 5:01 / km

Going Ok until ran from 21 to 23 or started to, thought something was wrong so turned around and went back but then made a parallel error on the buildings that had 20 and 22 - more stuffing around as I then thought which controls have I actually been to so went back to 21 and checked I had been there - must have been going too fast :-)

Road Cycling (Commute) 15:59 [3] 7.0 km (26.3 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Quick ride home fueled by a couple beers and no wind - had to avoid the DH texting while riding under the Narrows Bridge
7 AM

Running 32:02 [3] 5.9 km (5:26 / km)

DNA Tower run - nice morning in Kings Park after the rain had cleared out the air and washed some of the crap off the paths

Wednesday Apr 14, 2010 #

Road Cycling (commute) 19:00 [3] 7.0 km (22.1 kph)

Ride into work along Matilda Bay reasonable Northerly head wind just for a change

Tuesday Apr 13, 2010 #

Running 29:00 [3] 5.5 km (5:16 / km)

Excellent run in the pouring rain in Kings Park with Gary Carroll - Kim and Nicole were wimps and drove back home while Gary and I ran around stamping in puddles and splashing through the flooded paths like a couple of kids.

It was Gary and Kim last KP run before they head off to a new life in Tassie :-(

but we did have a great dinner to send them on their way
