Road Cycling 1:39:00 [3] 48.0 km (29.1 kph)

CRT ride, cut out at Canning Bridge to save any damage to my knee.

Orienteering race (Short) 26:23 [3] * 4.39 km (6:01 / km)
spiked:15/17c

First of the Short (Nav-Dash) Series events at UWA - ran OK but a few minutes off from others. No significant mistakes in terms of time just did not run fast enough. luke managed 16minutes which is very impressive and certainly flew by me. Lost a few seconds not working out what level a couple of controlswere when there was a walkway, maybe I should read the descriptions?

Running 46 [3] 7.3 km (6 / km)

Steady run in Kings Park to test the knee, no problem and much freer after the magic from the Physio

Running 41:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:51 / km)

Ran with Simmo and a lady from Alaska who has moved to Perth for a couple of years and was interested in Orienteering, ran steady to the start of Law Path (around 23min) then took and flatter way back and run walk as my left leg is stiff from crashing into a rock on Monday at Darkin River and I did not want to push it up hills.

Orienteering 1:08:00 [4] **** 6.56 km (10:22 / km) +170m 9:11 / km
spiked:10/15c

Training run at Darkin River, OMG the place is not what is was when I set the State Champs 4 years ago needs a fire or to mature and the bush to die back. Head high prickles most places that were runnable. Very tough to move through the terrain - a good work out for the legs which are now 12 hours later completely stuffed. Definitely need a few more bush runs before Easter!

Navigation in the complex parts was OK but not great, and was hard to stay on line - blame the thick bush?
