Feel the Burns race.
Lovely conditions so decided to chase the record (1:33:30). James Britton Carnethy was with me for 15min then it was a solo race. Felt pretty good until the turn around then flew down the hill and this broke me a bit and so last 30min was pretty wobbly. Think I got dehydrated but was okay. In the end got the record by about 5min.
Overally a lovely course on a lovely day and nice big haggis won. Good to see Kirstin won too. Evidently a course for sprint orienteers (if I am one of them, not quite sure).
Only issue is since about 20th December my right toe has got very very sore in Inov8s as it presses on it. Not sure why now as this has never happened before. So if anyone knows of any good fell shoes with wide toe boxes it would be appreciated.

and back about 10min later. All trains cancelled and too late to do anything about it. So back home for quick change and drop off bag before heading for an easy BnB.
