Tweedbank sprint.

Head a bit tired after not getting back till 2:30am last night due to delayed flights but legs feeling okay.

Pretty good but didn't realise it was 5m contours and I took a slightly risky route and ended up being a scramble up a very steep slope and then the path at the top was behind a 2m unmapped fence so took me 1:30 to go 100m :)

Otherwise pace was okay. Fun course and area.

The other way in the valley this time. Flatter but still some hills. I was quite tired so walked up a steep hill as feel I have done enough hills. Travelling back late tonight.
This is a beautiful place but right now I miss the meadows and maybe a bit more oxygen.

Note

90min hike up to a Hut +600m ascent. Then it started raining but a nice Romanian man in a cement truck gave us a lift. It was rather scary doing all the hairpins.

Session on what I thought would be a flattish gravel track around the hill.
Plan was 5x4(2:30) but I got a bit confused/lost near the end of 4th one. So got myself back on track then did a longer rep as thought I was a bit short on time.

Legs were okay. Pretty bad on the up but mostly I was struggling with breathing. I guess 1300m has an effect.

Easy run where I was on Saturday but went to the top this time. With two people I met at the conference. One was an adventure racer who was fit then another slightly slower. A bit of waiting but it was fine for an easy run. Still pretty hot.
