Note
slept:10.0 (rest day)

V tired these days. Decided a few actual rest days mightn't go amiss.

Swimming (TCD Sports Centre) 40:00 [3] 1.75 km (22:51 / km)
slept:8.0

Took advantage of the temporarily empty pool while Katie was fighting. Was glad of this, and glad after to see she won. She had a lot of expectation on her shoulders!

Note
slept:11.0 (sick) (rest day)

Woke up early feeling really unwell. Had a few things to sort, but immediately after went straight back to bed for another 4 hours sleep. Starting to feel better after that.

Running warm up/down 17:00 [2]
shoes: Asics Gel Stratus 3

Really tender achilles in both legs from walking too much in the Mudclaws on Sat. Oh no. Decided to jog to the orienteering anyway - but think this'll be my only run of the week.

Orienteering (Phoenix Park) 33:11 [3] *** 5.7 km (5:49 / km)
spiked:11/11c shoes: Asics Gel Stratus 3

Phoenix Park Tuesday Evening Series #1

Easy running, and easy nav so no bothers there. However, with my achilles struggling up the little slope to #10 and my body starting to realise that I did something stupid over the weekend, I actually struggled enough getting around!

slept:8.0 (injured) (sick)

Feeling pretty ill now. Hopefully it subsides soon. I think it's only fair since my body held out well for the race!

Note
slept:7.0 (rest day)

Slowly got our stuff together and hit the road, via The Spinning Wheel for breakfast. A long ol' day, arrived back in Dublin about 5 pm.
Everything about adventure racing seems to be sloooow.

Only up temporarily, and I'm not sure how much it'll mean to anyone that didn't race, here's the gps data of most of our route. Starts after the kayak as the boxes didn't work before then for some reason.

Results up. Finished 14th. Couldn't have hoped for more with all our pit-stopping!
