Jogged the race loop in an effort to warm the body up in time to take the Helly off. Brrr.

Inaugural Campus 5km Race - 3rd female

Pushed hard and generally ran well. 3 1/2 loops of the campus: 1st I stayed ahead of Briony (I realise she's well off her best, but it still felt nice), 2nd she overtook me and I just kept her in sight, 3rd she got well away and my stomach wasn't feeling so good, 1/2 held my place and closed the gap on guys in front.

Fun race, though a small crowd so we were well-spaced.

Short, easy run from home. Had planned to run in vibrams after but my legs felt tight and tired enough, plus I want to run half-decent in the campus 5 km tomorrow.

Enjoyable run along the canal into college. Just did it to increase distance, but actually it was a more pleasant commute.

2 herons were wandering about the rugby pitch the whole time. Which was pretty cool. Didn't understand why they were there, rather than the recently reseeded pitch just next door.
