Ben More Assnyt and Conival

Slept very well and woke up feeling somewhat fresh and ready for another day in the hills. Drove down to Inchnadamph and set off low cloud again meant I wasn't massively looking forward to it but it was an interesting climb towards the top. Got up Conival and wasn't entirely sure where the top was so I went to everything I could see that was high. Then dropped down and crossed the joining ridge to get up to Ben More Assnyt, the cloud ket threatening to lift but didn't manage really. Saw a deer at close quarters though.

On the way down I managed to trip on to some rocks and bruise both palms and my knee, felt sick for a bit then managed to continue on. Fun morning in the main.

Seana Braigh, Eilidh nan Clach Geala and Meall nan Ceapraichean

Bit of an impromptu decision to tick off Seana Braigh after refueling in Ullapool. Had intended to begin my journey southwards but felt I had time for a long'un. My knee had stiffened up a fair bit in the lunchbreak so the first km or so was a bit painful but fine once I had gotten going.
It was much more humid when setting off but I made good time over towards Sean Braigh on a track turning slowly in to a cool little single track-esque sort of path. I had a bit of an idea to tick of Eilidh nan Clach Geala on the way back if I felt OK as it wasn't too far offline. After crossing in to the Strath Conon watershed I got rather confused with the deep valley appearing in front which I didn't fully anticipate luckily the col wasn't as far away as anticipated though and it was pretty straight forward to get up to the top. As I arrived the clouds cleared and the views over to Suilven etc were amazing!
En route back I decided I couldn't resist the extra munro, however once I got up there I realised I could get another quite quickly. I toyed with the idea of Cona Mheall and Beinn Dearg also but felt they would probably push me over my limit and leaves me with some interest to add to the Am Faochagach route for another day.

Set off back down the valley and slowly lost the ability to run as the bonk arrived. Ended up plodding the last bit on empty. Great day out!

Ben Klibreck

Early start as I wasn't sure how long it would take nor have any idea as to how I'd feel afterwards as I want ed to get Ben Hope ticked off too.

Up and down with no real faff.

Ben Hope

Up and down. No real faffing.
Bumped in to some people on the top who live about 1mile down the road from me?

Felt pretty decent surprisingly though was a little cold initially from the earlier run.

Easy road miles once I'd finally made it up north to Altnaharra. Saw some head torches coming down off Ben Klibreck which was nice.
