shoes: Innov-8 X-talon 212 2014 B

Watergate
The usual haunt for a whistle-stop trip to sort out my car.
Nice and chilly out and about with wispy mist clinging on and a slight frost.

Running 49:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:54 / km) +50m 4:47 / km
shoes: Mizuno WR 18 II

Easy 10km along the South Tyne Trail, great location 100m of the A69 this may be my go to when travelling home.

Glute/hamstring not too bad again, L calf tight still though. My manly manly arms are quite sore also

Fell running race 36:00 [5] 6.85 km (5:15 / km) +365m 4:09 / km

Set off with a lot of doubts about my body, Glutes seemed to be sort of behaving themselves but calves were like bricks.
Set off about where I thought I'd be able to be but dropped back going up the first climb, worked back to Millar before descending quite well and cutting the corner to the trod. Millar kindly decided to slide tackle me here. Again suffered my way up the slight incline to the first checkpoint before rallying up a steeper pull on to the plateau. The flat fast stretch just killed me, I was trying to run but slipping further and further back before the tarmac made my hamstring and calf pull a bit. Stopped for a quick chat to Rhys and Dan before deciding to just keep on plodding and be out for a nice day out. Dropped down the hill and still felt crap. Saw/heard someone lying on the floor screaming with some walkers surrounding her and given the number of Ambleside vests infront of me including women I decided I wouldn't be of any use to the team and that I may as well stop to help out.

Helped carry her back up the hill and get her off the hill, good deed done.

Fell running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km) +50m 4:37 / km

Looking at the descent line with Karl
Jogging down to the start, sprinting back to the car as I'd left my dibber and then sprinting back
Jogging down the last descent.

Not a very successful day as I had already left my shoes in Liverpool en route to Karls

Running 18:00 [3] 3.5 km (5:09 / km) +25m 4:58 / km
shoes: Mizuno WR19

A lap of Sefton Park to decide whether to run the champs race.
Ultimately I failed it as it made my calves pull. What is wrong with my body at the minute, I'm either tired or broken.

Rock Climbing 1:10:00 [3]

Bit of a rubbish session. Felt pants, not really getting much of anything done.

Sacked off a run afterwards as body just felt broken for some reason

Some fartlek-y style efforts in Sefton Park with the Harriers. Session was supposed to be 1,2,3,2,1,2,3,2,1 but skipped the first 3mins and stepped out the second after 2mins due to a hamstring twinge
