(rest day)

Was going to run to schol this morning yet woke up and felt really knakered so decided against may just have a rest day instead.

Feeling a bit coldy tonight so going to lay off for the rest of the week

Running warm up/down (Year 5 activity Day) 1:40:00 [3] 3.5 km (28:34 / km)
shoes: Walshes 2

Games at school involved looking after year 5 on a field trip so me and smyth had to organise some activities. Then help set-up some string courses etc.
Then chase after the more nimble at times and make sure they didn't do anything they shouldn't...
Ran between the activities a fair bit too.
Treated it as a warm-up for later

Orienteering 45:00 [4] 5.1 km (8:49 / km)
shoes: Walshes 2

Did an old boxing Day score event in Chopwell woods against Smyth, he took the better route and beat me by a few controls :( felt pretty knakered all the way round got 22/30controls which if I remember correctly was just worse than I did in the hour format.
I reckon yesterday took more out of me than I first thought
Actual distance probably somewhere around 7km

Running 21:00 [3] 3.26 km (6:27 / km)

Same run as last week down through Chopwell, river and field crossing then up the hill to Hamsterly Mill

Run down to Watergate Park and then about 1/2 the way back but absolutly exhausted.
On the way there a few dynamic stretches and then static.
After static stretches and a jog/walk

Running race 10:30 [5] 3.0 km (3:30 / km)
shoes: Asic GT-2130

3km time trial around Watergate Lake (two big laps, one little)
Really pleased feel good, taken 27secs of pb in 2weeks and over 1minute since I first did one. Reckon I could go a little faster too as there were two dogs that got in my way and 2 tights corners to go round.
Feeling good though :D
