Cycling 3:15:00 [3]

To Chain of Rocks on IL side, back on MO side. Trail is in very good shape -- all mud/dirt has been swept. Only the trash on McKinley bridge bike lane marred the ride. Fortunately, CoR bridge had been reopened -- I'd forgotten to check. They have repaired the many rough joints - ride is smoother & safer. Also painted the fence on both sides (new?).

Long (40 miles) and hot (90), so labeled it "3". Stopped at gas station and later at Broadway Oyster Bar to hydrate, one Brown Ale also.

Lawn+ 1:30:00 [2]

Edging front and back sidewalks -- full wheelbarrow of grass and dirt from 35' in front - zoysia! Should have done it earlier in AM.

Cycling 2:20:00 [2]

To Bridge Center, return via St Louis City Public Library to pick up The Education of T. C. Mits -- a 'modern math' story from the 40's. I'm surprised I'd never heard of it before! And it is written for "you" -- The Celebrated Man in The Street. Pretty neat for Loren Lieber when Albert Einstein writes a cover blurb for your book!

Then on to Arch Grounds -- look beautiful - such wide open spaces! Museum opens July 3.
