Orienteering race 52:53 [4] 6.6 km (8:01 / km) +150m 7:12 / km

BOC relay - Finally race which I expected, but in the morning I knew that it won't be my day. I slept bad and I couldn't wake up. First leg started badly. I felt tired from first 100 meters, but I hold the first group till control No 7. After that the story from Saturday was repeated! Thick green + small depression + brain less = 7' error. Oh god! Way me, right here!? After that I rebuild my all morality and continued alone through beautiful forest. I thought that I have been the last on first leg, but not sure! Thanks to Andy and Ally. They were run fine and we were 15th on the end of race.

Orienteering race 1:56:04 [4] 16.0 km (7:15 / km) +350m 6:32 / km

British Champ. Long - Nice, beautiful terrain in Culbin. Sands dunes. No typical terrain for me. Technical course, excellent experience but worst result in UK. Where was mistake? I push hard from the start to believe myself that I am so fit to do it for whole race. After excellent start (first on the first control :-) I did a big error on 5th control and lost probably 2'. The space around control No5 and 27 was strange because I did errors on this place two times. However on all long courses I chose bad route choice. The only one right way was to be so close on the line between controls. On the end I was very stiff, hungry and on my right foot big blister has been raised. However I lost everything on the last 4 controls in green. I was so run down that I didn't concentrate on the map and lost 10 minutes, just walking, sitting and creeping throught forest. Winner O.Johnson 81'. Me 116'. Andy P. and Ally beat me :-(.
