Too hot for me. Really steep course but that wasnt the problem. Drenched in sweat a couple mins in. Started off poorly at 1, going up the wrong re-entrant losing 2+ mins there. Flew through to 4 then realised that if i kept that pace then i wouldnt be finishing the course with water in my body. Too low to 5 lost another 2+mins, then the heat hit me, poor route choice to 6 followed by a shocker of a control to 7. Went over wrong saddle and was looking for control in wrong place. Rest of course was steady making sure no more ridiculous errors.
Managed to get some serious blisters on ball of both feet, left foot is raw! Anybody got any clues how to treat this asap?!
