Hill running 3:54:01 [3] 21.68 km (10:48 / km) +1537m 7:58 / km

Kenny wanted to recce the first part of the BGR - from Keswick to Threlkeld - and persuaded KJ and I to keep him company. Almost perfect day in the hills - slightly misty and snow on the ground at the top of Skiddaw but great views and good running conditions the rest of the way. And good company!

Hill running 32:24 [3] 7.03 km (4:36 / km) +8m 4:35 / km
shoes: X-Talon 212 (SF)

Borders XC Dunbar, a bit flat and fast for me but actually still quite enjoyed it. Helped by the fact the weather was nice. Was running on my own for quite a large section on the way out, which meant there was nobody to shelter behind in the headwind and nobody to pace myself against - think my pace dropped a bit. Was catching and passing a few people on the way back. 50th, 3rd V60. Jed 30.08, Reiver 31.32
