shoes: Mudclaws RED

From Kinlochard round various forest tracks alongside and to the south of Loch Ard. Post coffee and victoria sponge at the Wee Blether. Very much in the gathering gloom. No decent map so pleased to not make too many wrong turnings. Felt pretty good considering the immediately prior sweet sustenance. Another nice run with littlest.

Conic Hill from Balmaha with K
Late on. Nice wee hill but baltic up top with driving hail. Didn't want to dwell or go further. Certainly blew away any cobwebs. Atmospheric Loch Lomond views nice too.
Nice to be running with the wee'en again.

Decidedly wild out. Not going.
So..another bash at the ski-erg. 6km of double poling and 4km of async. Or so it said. Slight calf niggle. Probably just the new activity.
Good catch up chat with SC too.

Not sure its a great idea to run with the neighbours. No warm up; straight out out the door and heading up Corybeg at a rate of knots. This time with MT and Bruno.
Really toiled up the climb. Even reduced to a walk near the top. Better coming down :-). Still, weather cleared up and turned out not bad up there. Good catch up too.
Either I'm still recovering from the QTM or the kids took a lot out of me at the Run Cllub yesterday or I'm getting old quicker than I'd hoped. Probably all of them. The alternative was running in the puddles on the green at the DR session tonight, so maybe this was better after all.

Ski Erg 1:00:00 [3]

Not sure depending on roller skiing is going to provide the requisite prep for the couple of winters ski races given the weather of the last week so...bit of an experiment with the ski-erg machine at The Unit.

Post warm up alternated 2 mins of double poling with asynchronous poling. Then later on increased it to 3 and 3, 4/4 and 5/5. Seemed well worthwhile and vaguely tolerable, or at least I didn't get too bored this time around. Will do it again.

Academy Run Club. 21 out. With WB and IW. First time for a good while and a few new faces.
Sprints out to the gliding strip. Wrong sort of trainers for the muddy track and getting dark so needed to be careful. All good though and no aches or pains.

MAROC coaching at Cambus. Nothing of a strenuous nature. Maybe get back into things this coming week. No hurry.
