Note

Pliers, or modern dental equivalent, somewhat brutally applied to rogue tooth. Not sure that tooth extraction procedures have kept pace with the rate of progress of most other stuff. Still seems to be a case of grasp tooth, pull, twist, pull the other way, repeat, then get your assistant to have a go. At that point the tooth breaks and you start over again with a smaller piece of tooth to grip on to. Lovely time was not had...but I was well looked after :-)

Back in the game
DR session at Glen Tanar
Usual warm up then 14 x 1/1 up the hill. Tough as usual.
Not so many out but nice to catch up with those who were. Getting a little dark by the end...earlier start and / or head torch next week.
Enjoyed it and going ok.

Note

Last of the tooth antibiotics.

Pedalling about Berlin
Gentle 3 hours

Road Running 20:00 [3]
shoes: Hoka Red

Miscellaneous Berlin roads supporting D (2.31) Ch(3.06) and of course Kipchoge (2.01). Two PBs and one just 2 mins off.
One very impressive Kenyan and two just impressive others.

Legging it first to 1k then 6, 21, 36 and the finish. D and Ch arriving right on schedule each time.
Benefits of having a number...could get into the finish area both to meet folk, snaffle a goody bag and a free beer or two..alco free unfortunately.

Good day in spite of...
Certainly a marathon to do.

Trail / Road Run 16:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:20 / km)

Nipped out to the local park to turn the legs over after the marathon...promising not to overdo it. Tooth well settled. If the race had been 2 days later no problemo.
