Was tempted (for all of about 3 secs) to take a run round the perimeter at LHR - as ABZ flight leg not until Sunday morning. Was far more sensible than that though.
Walking up to top of Gramps with T and c. Admired the views pre-flights.
Note
..and so ends a great trip. Weather was great most of the time and certainly when it really needed to be. Crammed in loads - more than I could really have expected. More importantly spent some great catchup time (active and sedentary) with some of nearest and dearest :-)

Up early to catch the sunrise. Not disappointed.
Steep and rough descent from Angelus Hut via Speargrass Creek. Several stream crossings and lots of loose rock. Brief stop for a spot of sustenance at Speargrass Hut then nice single track through the beech woods back to Mt Robert car park. Legs tired after.
Great couple of days.

Glorious day with great views. Big rucsac.
Brilliant hut and location at 1700m approx. A privilege to stay in it, especially in such weather. Surprised to see a few familiar names in the Hut book from the last three months (Q and SH, B and JE).
Legs surprisingly good after yesterday's race efforts.
