Trail 1:29:08 [3] 15.3 km (5:50 / km) +208m 5:27 / km
shoes: Pegasus 30 (blue/grey)

Early out. Nice morning.
Took a good while to get going. Running early morning not my favourite.
Loch of Leys, Drumshalloch, the long Crathes loop, railway, Platties, fire station, home. Felt tougher than it should have.

(rest day)

Still feeling weary. Maybe effects of last week still.

Orienteering race (DNC Cambus) 1:12:31 [4] 5.5 km (13:11 / km)
shoes: ORoc 340

Enjoyable but orienteered really poorly. Compass work particularly bad.
Big mistakes at 2, 4 and 7 and iffy route choices in other places. Nice run out in the snow though. Nice evening.

Twigged just below the right eye at 10. Painful.

ahr:156 max:184 shoes: Icebugs

Warm in, cold out. Snowy. No brainer to avoid journey to DR session in Aboyne. Local tempo run seemed better idea than intervals given the conditions.

5 x Corsee Hill loop. Good to grind out. Didn't feel too bad.

Balnagowan. CSC prep.
cm or two of snow. Happy to see the estate having taking out a lot of the windblown.
Feeling heavy and slow.
