XTC
Thought this would be windy, wet and maybe cold. None of those apart from a bit damp at the end.

Home, Scolty cp, up to Shooting Greens, a loop up the top, then Slewdrum and drop down to the Dee. Back direct. Nice.

Note

Job done :-)

Trail / Road Run 39:40 [3]
shoes: Pegasus 29 (red)

Down to The Platties and then along the Dee to the end of the railway track, then back home via Hill of Banchory woods. Felt good in more ways than one.

And now onto doing something about that small race in two weeks time.

To / from Aboyne Green

Drills 10:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Progrid (Orange)

AS session on Aboyne Green

Intervals 33:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Progrid (Orange)

5 x 4.30 / 2 on Aboyne Green with Deeside Runners.
Timings very temporary until I can steal them off Jennyr's AP.

First of the winter sessions so took it slightly easy or at least managed it fairly well. Reasonable sized group out although not so many orienteers this time out. Felt good after anyway, if not during.

This didn't quite go to plan. Never seemed to get going properly - just seemed like unusually hard work.

Thrown a bit by the strange configuration of ditches, or lack of, heading to 4 hence big banana. Really messy from then on, culminating in a maverick route to 9 and more ditch/stream confusion at 10. It didn't get any better. One to forget.
