Trail 1:03:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Pegasus 27 (b/y)

Muddy muddy. Glen O'Dee. But it was light. Light until 5.35. Result. Heavy lunch so didn't feel fluent. Was intending a quicker session with K but she was under the weather so on my tod.

Note

OK I had a stressful work day yesterday but it still really baffles me why people don't pick up the phone to the organiser before complaining on public forums. Most things can be talked through and a solution found.

S&C 41:00 [3]
shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Usual stuff plus probably more stretching than for a while as have neglected it a little.

Trail 42:00 [3]
shoes: ORoc 340

Glen O'Dee. Snow. DNC off. Need a run desperately. Try out the new shoes. Brave the weather. Head torch, tempo, good fun once warmed up.

Note

Amazing! I just cannot believe what I read sometimes. Spent this evenings run ranting about complainers - "child friendly events". This is Deeside, February. Snow. Winter. Cold. You know. Level C event. From people who should know better too.

Jethro, DonP, Dixie, Elle, Marsela...did we carp on so much about child unfriendly events 15 years ago? I somehow think we just got on with it.

Rant over. 40 years in this sport and it still surprises me how much people complain. Still it will be a good event on Sunday and in February, snow or no snow.

Trail 18:50 [3] 4.0 km (4:43 / km)
shoes: Icebugs

Lap of Stokkelandsvatnet again with c this time, from his apartment. In the dark or would have been it if hadn't been lit all the way round.

Wandered around on the iced up lake too.
