Steady on the roads to Woodbank and then back through Hazlehead. Feeling much better.

Spotted an alleyway I missed by looking at Routegadget from Saturday. Would have saved me maybe 150m..not nearly enough.

Ground it out. Found it very tough from the first minute and turned into just a trudge. Caught CS and then RS and then basically wasn't far away from them for 2/3 of the course. Can't say I enjoyed it, even though only two small misses. Just couldn't get going at all in the terrain, nothing in the legs.

Still, the hard work is done.
