Road Running 1:20:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Progrid(Blue)

Never seen so many runners out at 7 in the morning. They have a portion problem over here but there are an awful lot of folk doing something about it.
Out the Buffalo Bayou as far as Memorial Park and then back the otherside to downtown Houston. Pretty much all hard concrete paths and already 25 degrees at that time in the morning. Made use of the sponsored drinks points that they put out at weekends.

Found it all very tough but seeing the sky high buildings of downtown on the way back meant at least I knew how far was remaining.

Trail 1:21:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Pegasus 27 (b/y)

Crathes trails. Stomach a bit iffy for last half hour.

Sunday Jul 22, 2012 #

Trail 35:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Pegasus 27 (b/y)

Surprised myself by managing to get up post late night revelry. Largely a repeat of Fridays run but too early to go as fast. Needed to be short to make breakfast before heading north.

Note

Managed more running in the last 3 weeks than I thought I would and a bit of biking and snorkeling helped the damage limitation.
