Gentle stuff sounding out back and calf.

20 mins x spinning
20 mins x treadmill, first 10 very very gentle, next 10 steadily increasing.

Back iffy, calf not bad. Generally ok but not ok enough to do DNC tonight.

Note

Still thinking of DNC even though knew it wasn't the right thing. That idea was put to rest by an accident on Kingswells to Westhill dual carriageway. 90 mins to get home probably a blessing in disguise. Definitely knew it was a blessing when I read SarahD's AP.

XC Skiing race ( Brit Ski-o Champs) 1:00:00 [3]

1st (unoffical) British Ski-O champs at Dess.
Great fun but a real challenge. Slightly icy and track skis not ideal especially when the wax was wiped off pretty quickly. Norwegian Score format worked well except that I contrived to miss a control.Took your life in your hands on a couple of downhill tracks through the trees. Plenty of falls, plenty intentional. Not really sure how long I took.

30 folk or so out...nice to have DAP coffee and cake after.

Note

Calf doesn't seem worse but have certainly tweaked my back now! Plenty of bruises too.
