Best laid plans and all that. Timed leaving Ingleton so that I'd make the Braids race in Edinburgh. Didn't plan on a 5 hour closure of the M74 caused by an accident ten minutes in front of me though. Arrived at the race just as it finished. Sorry dc.
Trundled on up home after sampling the Braids mud in less competitive style.

Good tempo round the Hazlehead loop. Felt good in lighter shoes. Really enjoyed it especially when giving it a lot of welly on the way back.
Feel to be over the "belly" now, can start to refocus on the weeks ahead.
