Good tramp from Loch Muick up Lochnagar and back via Glas Allt Shiel and round the loch with T. Great weather.
Walking for 5 hours.

Trail / Road Run 35:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Cumulus

Steady after last nights efforts but felt really good doing a short loop in Hazlehead at lunchtime.

(Intended it to be much longer but got caught up supporting the MAROC, Scotjos and GB folk at EYOC in Serbia by way of the live results (..and the Silver medal for A-T, Nydalens and Norway in W18!).

Hot evening. Went off rather too quickly and almost died at the end chasing down K and JO. PB by 8 seconds.
Bad time for the shower at home to break.

Gym 15:00 [3]
shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Was going to be a rest day and I suppose it was..kind of, except that I had a 3 yearly company medical which included 15 mins on the treadmill and cardiogram.
Resting heart rate: 49
Speed and gradient of treadmill increasing every 3 minutes up to 15 mins. Heart rate at 15 mins: 171
Normal I'm told...which is good.

shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Another lunchtime session of the usual.

Trail 1:01:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Trail Sensor

Finished the course and managed to get up to Ryvoan at the end and then up Meall a'Bhuachaille before dropping down to GL via direct route. Good views today. Most of the tops were clear. Felt heavy on the way up, probably being too soon after lunch but a bit more spritely ont he way down..not surprisingly!

Note
(rest day)

Coaching course..no time. Shame..lovely day, lovely location. Frustrating being inside half the time but at least the view of the Northern Corries was way better than my normal work view! Just would have been nice to have been up there. Still, walking around the grounds of GL in the sunshine was pleasant.
