Spin round Brathens, Glassel loop. Stayed on road mainly in order a good level of effort in and to give the calf a good stretching. Calf now feeling much better. Now to decide when to start running....! Physio again Monday night.

Wet and muddy and freezing feet. From home to Bellfield, Scolty car park, Shooting Greens, Potarch, up through Sluie, Craiglash quarry, Glassel, Glen O'Dee, Burnett Park and home. Bit of a change in weather from the snow and sunshine of last Friday.

Couldn't half do an alternative bike Long-O on Deeside.

Might be tempting fate but things are certainly better - stretches are no longer limited by infringing on a pain zone. Could be looking at running next week...probably a week too late for BOC. Meantime grin and bear the swimming and gym for a bit longer.

80 x 20m (40 x breast, 40 x fc). Not cramping so much now. No swim partner tonight...get well soon!

Best session for a while. Feeling I'm getting somewhere at last and can actually put some good effort in even if it is non-impact stuff.

20 mins x cross trainer
20 mins x spinning
10 mins skate skiing

Hmm...2 hrs 45mins to get home tonight..took 2 hours to do 4 miles. Aberdeen gridlocked.
