Trail / Terrain Run 38:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel Trail Sensor

From Scolty car park with dc and c. C was on the bike for a bit, then even did a bit of running, then dc & I went up into the fog to the top, over the back and down. Then waited for c whilst he managed to find himself after he got lost.

Glen O'Dee and back via some hilly local roads. Not feeling spritely.

Gym 40:00 [3]
shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Good lunchtime gym session, even kind of enjoyed it. Did 20 mins on that lovely skate skiing machine. Just wish I could skate ski like I can use that machine though. Then 10 minutes of rowing and a few other bits and pieces.

Knee seemed ok on the machines that seemed to find it our last time. Being a bit careful though.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]
shoes: VJ Twister

Shadowing Maroc juniors (RM & FW) at Bogendreip. Both did well. Slightly depleted turnout but then it is Dec 21! Really warm day...12 degrees.

This forest is great in winter time and after the snow has flattened the dead bracken. Lots of surface water about though.

Trail / Terrain Run 1:30:00 [3]

Deeside Runners annual shortest day run up Morven in the early evening from Groddie. Warm but blowing a real hooley. 45 degree lean into the wind up and down made it tough work. Pretty chilly on the top but the usual hip flask contents helped no end. 9 folk out with Jon, Dave and Matt doing an extra trip to the top to look for Francie who had meantime come down the race route instead. Whoops.

Another mid winter epic on Morven. Not boring these runs.
