Last weekend in Norway.

Out early on the bike. Up to Ullevaalseter and back.

Seasonal change. Leaves are gone, shorts have been replaced by lycra tights, bikers and runners have "Norge flag" ski hats on now, some runners with ski sticks are out doing various types of exercises in preparation for the winter season. Still a lot of active folk out early.

From work. Blustery Bygdoy. Very fresh winding along the trails through the forest and beside the fjord to Huk and Paradisbukta. Wild autumn day with most of the leaves now having dropped. Out onto the rocks on the small headland, sucking in the views. Met Dag H-H near Huk and ran back to work through the woods with him. Good chat.

Was intending doing Rundt Sognsvann but got caught up with work, and then T's flight got in earlier than I thought it would. Maybe no bad thing as I was feeling very tired and perhaps run down.

Late night at work but impressed myself by getting out on a blustery night.

Down west side of Riks Hospitalet, via Domus Athletica to Ullevaal Stadion (Valerenga 3 Lillestrom 1 creating all the noise), up to Tasen, out towards Maridalen, avoiding the roller skiers, then back home via Korsvoll and Kringsja.

Felt pretty good, and better still the calf is certainly on the mend.

Don't expect to run today...back to Oslo. Maybe it will do the calf good to have another rest anyway.
