Mtn Bike 1:00:00 [3] 19.0 km (3:09 / km) +500m 2:47 / km

Cracking day. Slemdal, Beserud, Holmenkollen, Frognerseter, Voksenkollenveien, Holmenkollen, Slemdal, Vinderen, Gaustad, home. Pushed the first 8 km up to the lake at Frognerseter quite hard. Recce'd my leg (7) of the Holmenkollen relay on the way up and down.

Caught the end of the 5th leg of the womens relay at Vinderen.

Note

Too difficult logistically to get to and from Kongsberg (Pinselopet) and do Holmenkollen relay at same time. Any running is a bit sore on the achilles too so two races in a day is certainly asking for it.

Running 20:00 [3]
shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Warm up / warm down

Road Running race 8:00 [5] 1.79 km (4:28 / km)
shoes: Reebok Premier RoadPlus

Leg 7 of Homenkollen Relay for Chevron Norge AS. All uphill from Slemdal to Beserud. Fairly evil. I'm sure Peter Northug was running this leg too. We ended up 215/487.

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Mtn Bike 25:00 [3]

Post relay bike down to and back from Frogner Park for post-race beer and burger.

Mtn Bike 18:00 [3] 6.0 km (3:00 / km)

To work. Achilles loosening off a bit, slightly swollen. Hmm...Kongsberg Pinselopet and Holmenkollenstaffett at weekend..fingers crossed.

Weather forecast is good for another week.

Mtn Bike 23:00 [3] 6.0 km (3:50 / km)

Back home. Achilles settling down now thankfully. At least it didn't bother me for the annual "dugnad" clean up this evening.

Warm down from the house

Orienteering race (Oslo City Cup Final) 24:53 [5] 3.2 km (7:47 / km)
shoes: VJ Twister

At Hestejordet by Linderud. Didn't know whether it was sensible or not to run, calf and all but heart got the better of the head and I got away with it! Started off 4th in H50 in chasing start. Didn't navigate much though. Far trickier than earlier rounds and haven't seen results yet but it seems no 2 doesn't show up on the splits! Whoops. Kept ahead of the 5th guy anyway but nowhere near catching Einar in 3rd. Still the calf is a real bonus.

20 degrees plus - a great evening, and not too sore afterwards.

Note

Physio appointment at Nimi at lunchtime - got the acupuncture treatment..seems to be working!

via Bantjern, Holmenkollen, Beserud and road back. Warm day. Not started work on the ski jump yet. Really pushed it on the big climb.

Orienteering 15:00 [3]
(injured)

Got my map and wandered around for 90 mins with camera at Siggerud Trimtex Cup race. Great area but tough. Lovely weather and pretty scenic. Still feeling calf.
