Running with Sam and Presto! OK, well, in retrospect Thursday's lab pain was downright reasonable. I was in lab until 11pm last night... That is definitely too late. Also, this sadly included precisely zero preparation for the conference next week, so I had to spend today dealing with that. We just squeezed in a quick run before meeting up with Holly and Bryan (!!!) for dinner. I had a bit of a lab hangover today, so running felt a bit difficult, but it was super nice to run when it was light out!

Running with Presto after lab! This week is killing me. I spent over 11 hours in lab today, so Sam had already finished his run by the time I got home. I took Presto out for a second round, which Presto seemed quite pleased with. I felt super slow and tired, but apparently this took about the same amount of time as usual.

Running in the rain with Presto! This week is completely crazy with work - lots of benchwork plus lots of seminars that I have to go to/speakers that I have to host. I had breakfast and dinner with two different speakers today. I thought I wouldn't have time for a run today, figuring that by the time I was done with dinner I'd be too full/tired to get out, but dinner was at the most Berkeley of restaurants and vegan and generally lacking in calories, so running after dinner was actually fine :-). Sam and Presto had already taken off, but I ended up catching them on their way down about 5 minutes out, so Sam passed Presto off to me for the rest of the run. My legs are still a bit tired from Sunday and the rest of me was just generally exhausted from the day, but it was still good to get out!
