BAOC Summer Series #1 at the Presidio with Presto! Super fun long sprint course at the Presidio. Presto was dragging pretty much the entire time (although not badly) except whenever Sam would pass us, which probably happened more often than Sam would have liked :-). I had a few suboptimal route choices - one due to a mistake and a few due to the vegetation being thicker than I anticipated. Also, I lost 2 minutes at one of the map exchanges to Presto drinking...and drinking...and drinking....

This is the longest I've run since I've gotten injured, and I could tell. My knee and foot felt fine, but around 30 minutes in, I really started getting tired. I guess I've got some endurance to build back up again, but it was very heartening to make it through the entire hour without pain! Hopefully, I still feel good tomorrow.

Running after lab with Sam and Presto! Woohoo! Successful normal run up the hill! Running up the hill was depressingly difficult, but running down the hill was good :-).

Bay to Bankers 5km with Sam and Presto! Fun course by Rex visiting buildings that have been around since before the 1906 earthquake! Running felt just like running, which was nice, and our navigation was nice and smooth, although, we got a bit tripped up on a park that isn't open on holidays and some weaving through tourists, which is always a bit more challenging with a Presto. Things are still clearly not completely better with my foot and knee, but they're definitely moving in the correct direction!

Running at Point Pinole with Sam and Presto! This weekend has been good for sleeping, so I was feeling much better this morning. We headed out for a nice easy run and first thing noticed another sighthound. We stopped to say hi, and they told us they were here for a sighthound play group, so we decided to hang out with them for a while. We ended up in a group of Presto, 5 or 6 greyhounds, and a galgo. Presto was mildly obsessed with the galgo and initially a little nervous around the greyhounds, but he settled in after a while. He even ran a tiny bit with the other dogs, but mostly just watched, sniffed, and sunbathed on the beach. Apparently greyhounds really like the water and spent a lot of the time splashing around in the Bay. Presto and the galgo were not impressed.

After about an hour, we decided we'd better actually go on our run, and headed off for a loop of Point Pinole. All the broken body parts were feeling good, but I think I'm just tight from sitting around too much. Fun, fun!
