Hiking 2:00:00 [3] 6.0 mi (20:00 / mi) +500m 15:53 / mi
shoes: Brooks Running 16

Hiking with Sam and Presto at Garin Regional Park! We were going to go skiing, but we weren't sure what my knee would think, so we decided to just go for a hike. After an April Fools-worthy number of attempts at finding a park that didn't have mudslides stopping us from getting to them, we finally settled on a smallish park in Hayward. It was surprisingly nice, and we had a really pretty hike around a nice loop with lots of flowers and views out across the Bay. The knee felt completely fine! Presto was super happy to be out for a walk, even if he had to be on a leash most of the time because someone told us there were rattlesnakes on the trail! (Although we never saw any...)

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Normal stretching. The knee is definitely getting better. It's still a bit sore with twisting motions and if I bend it all the way (i.e., kneeling or squatting).

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Normal stretching.

I'd already planned not to run the ultralong because of my concert today, and between my knee and my cold, this worked out well.

The knee's still hurting today, so I did a bit of stretching after my concert.
