Running 47:04 [3] 5.0 mi (9:25 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 16

Running with Presto on the Nimitz Trail! Just a quick jaunt to get outside today. Presto was super excited to be out for a run and seemed kind of sad to turn around after 2.5 miles, but we don't want to be too tired for tomorrow!

There was a coyote next to the trail at one point. Presto seemed completely unaware of it, but it was definitely watching us pretty closely. I was surprised it was hanging out so close to the trail!

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Normal stretching before my concert.

Running 29:18 [3] 3.1 mi (9:27 / mi)

Running with Presto after lab! Easy-peasy run up and down the hill. We started just after sunset and got some great views of Mt Tam and the Golden Gate from the top of the hill. Good to get out!

Strength 14:00 [3]

Normal abs and stretchy-band glutes.

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Running 29:15 [3] 3.1 mi (9:26 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 16

Running with Presto after lab! I was feeling pretty tired on the way up, but the way down was quite awesome tonight. Presto was extremely peppy, but that might have been because it was pretty chilly tonight (for Berkeley - although it sounds like it might actually be colder here than on the east coast right now...).

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Normal stretching.

Orienteering 2:00:00 [3] *** 7.0 mi (17:09 / mi)
40c shoes: Brooks Running 16

Setting controls for the BAOC meet at UC Berkeley! Because the meet was at UC Berkeley I had to set all the controls the morning of the meet. It took me a little while to figure out the best way to attach controls that didn't have a good place for a stand to go in, but after that I was just cruising along for the first hour or so. At some point, I realized I was going to be cutting it really close on time and substantially picked up the pace, which made the first hour sort of like a warm-up and the last hour sort of like interval training. The start had to be delayed 10 or 15 minutes, but I did get them all set almost on time...

We had a ton of people at the meet, which was fun, and people seemed to have a good time, so I call it a success :-).

Orienteering 15:00 [3] *** 1.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Picking up controls with Presto! This was WAY more relaxed and I had a bunch of help.

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Stretching after hours more of paper writing.
