Strength (Flying Trapeze!!!) 10:00 [3]

Woohoo! Flying trapeze with Carlie! This was pretty awesome :-). I didn't really remember much from the last time I did it, but it was super fun anyway. I did one-handed take-offs with knee hangs and splits and caught a couple of knee hangs. I will be sore...and will have to come again!!!

Running with Presto in the morning! My legs seem to have recovered from Canada, and Presto was pretty happy to be doing something that he feels is a legitimate dog activity :-).

Swimming 15:00 [3]

Tubing with the lab and Presto and Carlie(!!) on the Russian River! This was mainly pretty much just floating, but I did get a bit of swimming in both with and without the tube. I also got Presto to swim, which was a bit of a negotiation process... There was even an awesome jumping-in rock :-). Then we went out afterward to celebrate Snigdha's birthday. Fun day!

Canadian Champs Middle at One Duck Lake! Fun course! My goals for this were to never leave a control without a plan and always have an attackpoint. I didn't do perfectly with this, but I did pretty well, and overall it paid off. I definitely had a few several minute mistakes out there, but I'm pretty pleased after over a year of orienteering in steep but untechnical terrain I didn't have any major blowups. The heat was killing me, though. Living in Berkeley has not prepared me for 90+!
