Running 1:18:16 [3] 7.5 mi (10:26 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 19

Running with Presto up to Tilden and back! This week was a bit stressful at work, so I just wanted to get out for a nice de-stressing run today. The air finally seems clear from all the fires (although it was never anywhere close to as bad as last year!) and it was gloriously cool and sunny. We ran up to Tilden and then along to Lake Anza. I briefly considered turning around here, but decided to keep going up to Summit Ave. I got some great views across the Bay here, and my initial plan was to come down the steps and trails from Summit Ave. But the idea of giving up all that elevation on steps when I could run down a more gradual decent was unpleasant, so I turned around to get a bit more time on trails and then headed to Grizzly Peak Blvd. My hamstring felt good the whole time, although my annoying burning nerve thing in my right foot started acting up a tiny bit on the downhill. Awesome run!

Stretching 10:00 [3]

More wiped than I feel like I should have been from the run. Stretching was oddly difficult. I think I was just finally not stressed and my body decided it was time to sleep :-).
